Marriage contract of Shahrbanu, the daughter of Muhammad Baqir, and Muhammad ʻAli, the son of Simaun Bayg from Georgia. The mahr includes: 30 tumans cash, some crimson gold, five shah-mans of copperware, five mans of carpet, kilims and felt worth nine tumans, a set of qalamkar bedding worth five tumans, 20 sheep worth 10 tumans, a female Abyssinian slave worth 10 tumans, one twelfth of a building called Muhammadkhani, some other properties, water use, a mill, and one twelfth of a garden. Mashhadi Habib's will, 1921
Mashhadi Habib, the son of the late Husayn ‘Amu, appoints his younger brother, Ni‘mat, as the executor of his will and Karbalayi ‘Askar, the son of ‘Ali Pasha, as the overseer while he [Mashhadi Habib] travels to Karbalaʼ. They are responsible for giving ten mans [unit of area] of his share of a garden to his wife, Munavvar, as her mahr. A third of his belongings should be in Ni‘mat's hands for use on khums, the payment of his debts, ta‘ziyah, and charity.

Sayyidah Fatimah Khanum's will, 1931
Sayyidah Fatimah Khanum (known as Khanum Jan), daughter of Haj Sayyid Razi from Fuman, has assigned her children, Sayyid Muhammad Riza and Nur al-Hajiyah (Aqa Mir Isma‘il's wife), as the executors of her will to manage payments of her debts, transfer her deceased body to Qum for burial at her father's mausoleum, as well as payments for fifty years worth of prayers and fasts and other religious rights and charities.

The document reads in part: Haji Mulla Husayn, the preacher, settled 1500 tumans with three of his sons, Mirza Muhammad Riza Khadim, Shaykh Muhammad Baqir, and Shaykh ʻAbd al-ʻAli, for a man [three kilograms] of salt.
